Thursday 16th 2021, the 3e and 4e euro took the bus and the metro to go to the “Musée de la Piscine » in Roubaix, we walked through the streets to finally arrive.
After we stepped in, we took off our bags and coats and were separated into groups with a different guide. We visited the swimming pool which has been converted into a museum and which displays statues and work of art on the theme of slavery throughout the centuries. In the end, we had ten minutes to see the swiming pool and we took pictures if we wanted to. It was extremely gorgeous ! Then we left to have lunch in a square, we had until 12:40 to finish, there were roosters and we had so much fun.
When we finished eating, we had the afternoon to see street art in the city in different groups with a teacher. There were many different painting techniques. We saw tags, graffitis, stencils, paintings, etc. We wrote the name of the artist, the title and the type of art in a chart to remember.
It was wonderful!
This day taught us a lot of things. It was fantastic and a lot of fun !
